Description
This is a mid-19th century lodge, originally part of Hookfield House. It is constructed of stock brick with a pitched slate roof, distinguished by deeply overhanging eaves supported on elaborate brackets. The building has a cruciform plan, with a central chimney featuring a dentilled cornice. It is single-storyed, with a canted bay window at the end of each arm, and casement windows with glazing bars on the sides.
