Description

This circa 1900 house is constructed of roughcast and has a pitched tile roof. It is two storeys high, with a water table above the ground floor. The house features a gable at each end, with a slightly tapering roughcast chimney flanking each gable. Below each gable is a shallow, two-storey canted bay. The central section of the facade has a low six-light window below the eaves, two tall single-light windows, and a front door. The door has Arts-and-Crafts style hinges and handles and is topped by a hood supported on consoles, connecting it to the right-hand canted bay. All windows are casement windows with lead glazing bars. A rainwater head, featuring oak leaves and acorns in relief, is located below the left-hand chimney.
