Description
Parkhurst, located at 24 Church Street in Epsom, is an early 18th-century building. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of red brick with some blue headers. The façade features three late 18th-century sash windows and a central doorcase topped with a segmental pediment supported by carved brackets. There are semi-circular steps leading up to the entrance, and to the left, there is a three-storey bay window from the late 18th to early 19th century, which has modern sashes. The cornice and parapet extend over the entire structure. The building has a flat-topped old tile roof with two flat-topped dormers. Inside, there is a staircase dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. Parkhurst is part of a group that includes Nos 14 to 24 (even), Nos 24A and 24B, an outhouse to the north of No 18, and the Old King's Head Public House.
