Description

This description is for a group of two chest tombs located approximately 1 meter south of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary in Witney Cogges. These tombs date from the mid-18th century and are made of limestone. They have a plain design, each featuring a cavetto-moulded plinth and cornice. The tomb to the south commemorates John Piercny, who died in 1770.
