Description

Pratts Cottage and Claymore Cottage are a pair of houses dating to the late 17th century. They are constructed of stone rubble with a stone slate roof. The building has stone end stacks and brick ridge stacks, one to the left of the centre and another to the right of centre, the latter having a brick flue. The houses are two storeys and have an attic, with a 6-window front. A 6-panel part-glazed door is located to the right of the centre, and a panelled door with a flat hood and overlight is to the left of the centre. The windows are a mix of casements and sashes, arranged in an irregular pattern. The interiors were not inspected.
