Description
This building is a house dated 1722, which was enlarged in the late 18th century. It is constructed of roughly squared and coursed limestone, with an addition made of coursed limestone rubble. The roof is made of stone slate and the house has two storeys plus an attic. The integral brick end stacks were rebuilt in the 20th century.
The front features two gabled dormers, each with 2-light wooden casements. The facade has two windows with 2-light leaded metal casements set in wooden frames, all topped with flat stone arches. There is a central 20th-century glazed door, also with a flat stone arch, and a 20th-century gabled stone porch that includes a 4-panelled door. Above the porch is a segmental-headed panelled datestone that reads: "TM/AH/1722".
To the left, there is a later addition that slightly projects forward, featuring a gabled eaves dormer with a 2-light small-paned wooden casement. The first floor has a 2-light small-paned wooden casement with a wooden lintel, and the ground floor has a pair of 20th-century windows with a continuous wooden lintel. The interior has not been inspected.
