Description

Greystone is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the mid-18th century with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of roughly coursed limestone rubble and features a concrete tile roof with coped verges. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window front. The 19th-century casements are set in 18th-century openings and have projecting keystones above flat stone lintels. There are two small leaded gabled dormers in the roof slope directly above. The house has integral end stacks with shafts that were rebuilt in 19th-century brick above dripstones. At the rear, there is a gabled staircase projection and a single-storey 19th-century outbuilding attached to the right gable end. The interior has not been inspected but is noted to have panelled window shutters.
