Description
This is a group of six chest tombs located approximately 7 to 10 meters south of the Church of St. Mary. One of the tombs likely dates from the late 17th century and is made of stone, featuring a rectangular shape with panelled sides, a cornice moulding at the top, and a ribbed bale-top adorned with skulls at the ends. Two tombs are probably from the early 18th century, also made of stone and rectangular, with panelled sides; one has central panels on the sides that break forward and flat cornice-moulded top slabs. There is one tomb that likely dates from the late 18th century, which is rectangular with panelled sides, fluting on the ends of the panels, and a shaped top. The final two tombs are probably from the early 19th century, made of stone, rectangular, plain, with fluting on the ends of the sides, and shallow hipped tops.
