Description

This is a bale tomb dating from the late 17th century, located about 9 meters south-west of the porch of the Church of St John. The tomb features ashlar stonework, with a moulded plinth and cornice. The bale is fluted and adorned with scallops, and there is a skull carved in a scallop at the east end. The east end panel has an enriched architrave, while the sides and west end are panelled and finished with ogee moulding. The names on the tomb are illegible.
