Description
The chest tomb for the Cozins family, located approximately 24 meters north of the chancel of the Church of St. John, dates from around 1790. It is made of stone and features a shaped base. The north side has an inscribed panel flanked by scroll and flower motifs on either side. Each end of the tomb also has worn inscribed panels. The south side displays an inscribed panel adorned with winged heads and fleur-de-lys at the top, along with scroll and flower panels to the left and right. The tomb is topped with a stepped and moulded surface that has roll-moulded spines.
