Description
The well house, located approximately 20 meters southeast of Tangley Hall, dates back to the early 17th century. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features an overlapping stone slab roof with gabled cresting. The building has a square plan set on a moulded plinth and is a single storey in height. The front gable includes a two-light chamfered mullion window with a dripstone above a chamfered segmental-pointed doorway, which is fitted with a plank door and strap hinges.
