Description

This is a bale tomb located about 5 meters west of the Kempster Memorial. It dates from the early to mid-18th century and is constructed from ashlar stone, showcasing Baroque influences. The tomb features an illegible inscription and has panels framed by tapering end shafts. There is a plain frieze that is broken round as a cap, with flanking suspended balls on each side. The design includes a spiral bale with scallop ends and a cartouche end panel on the east side.
