Description

This gatepier, attached wall, and gate are located approximately 25 meters southeast of Lee Place. They are probably from the early 19th century and are constructed of coursed limestone rubble and ashlar. The gatepier is rusticated and features vermiculated panels topped with a ball finial. The wall has pitched coping that rises from an early 19th-century iron gate, which is adorned with spear-head standards and an overthrow with an urn finial.
