Description

This stable, located approximately 5 metres southeast of Asthall Farm, likely dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone and features a stone slate roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of a three-bay range. There is a central plank door, with unglazed openings on both the left and right sides. A stone external staircase is situated on the left return.

Inside, the stable has a trenched purlin roof and feeding racks located on the ground floor to the left and right. This structure is included for its group value.
