Description
Hollyhock Cottage is a former pair of cottages that have been combined into one building, dating from the 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof. The front of the building has one storey and an attic, featuring a gabled half dormer and a narrow frontage with one window. This window is a 19th-century two-light casement with a wooden lintel and leaded glazing, with a ledged door located to the left. The return gable includes a ledged door and a two-storey extension that has two windows, which are small 19th-century two-light casements with leaded glazing. There is a continuous lintel over the ground floor, which has two windows, with the right-hand window being a three-light casement, along with a ledged door. The building has chimneys at the end gables.
