Description
This is a shelter shed, now used as an animal house, located approximately 25 metres south-southeast of Asthall Farm. It was likely built in the mid-18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The rear and side walls are made of stone coursed rubble, while the front features 20th-century timber framing with weather boarding. The roof is covered with stone slates.
The structure is a single-storey, four-bay range, with 20th-century stable doors and windows in the front, which has been infilled in the 20th century. Inside, there is a trench-purl in the roof. This building is included for its group value.
