Description

The garden wall surrounding Kilmore House is a structure from the 18th and early 19th centuries, featuring some signs of building breaks. It is constructed of coursed rubble limestone and has a flat stone coping, with the south wall's coping enhanced by a later 20th-century concrete roll. The wall stands approximately 2 meters high and includes later buttresses. Notably, the south wall has nesting boxes for doves. The west wall, which is next to the north side of Kilmore House, incorporates a re-used medieval arch that has a hollow chamfer, a moulded label, and a rear rebate for a door. This wall is included for its group value with the adjacent Kilmore House.
