Description

Elm Tree Cottage is a house dating to the 17th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with a stone slate roof, half-hipped to the right. The building has rendered ridge stacks positioned to the left and right of the centre. It is two storeys high with a three-window front. A plank door is located to the left of the centre, set within a wooden lintel. Two 20th-century two-light casement windows are present to the left, also with wooden lintels. Further 20th-century two-light casement windows are located centrally and to the right, with wood lintels. A blocked doorway, complete with a wooden lintel, is found to the right. The first floor has three two-light casement windows. The interior of the cottage has not been inspected.
