Description

This is a late 18th-century house located at 752 Ock Street. The building is not symmetrical in design and is constructed of brick, with a rubble plinth. It has a hipped slate roof and brick chimneys. A wood blocking course runs along the top of the walls, alongside a dentil brick cornice. The building is three stories high and features bands of brickwork between the floors. The second floor has three windows with flush frames and double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The first floor has five windows, each with a gauged brick arch, flush frames, and double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. A fire plaque is also visible. An early 19th-century enclosed wooden porch extends from the front, featuring plain, narrow piers, a cornice, and a glazed rectangular fanlight above a double door consisting of six panels. Rubble and brick extensions are located to the side and rear of the main structure.
