Description

No. 61 is a 17th-century building that was originally two cottages and is now a house. It is constructed of colourwashed limestone rubble and features a half-hipped thatch roof, with a stone stack finished in brick at the left end. The building has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a one-window range. There are timber lintels above an old plank door and a 17th-century ribbed door with strap hinges, which flank a three-light wood-mullioned window. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
