Description

Pound Croft House is a 17th-century house situated on the east side of the A338 at East Hanney. It is likely constructed on a brick base with roughcast rendering, featuring painted quoined dressings and a stone slate roof. A brick ridge stack is centrally located. The house is two storeys and an attic, with a four-window front. A 19th-century ribbed and studded door, part-glazed, is located to the left of the centre, sheltered by a flat hood supported on brackets. Most window openings have three-light casements with hood moulds; however, a two-light casement with a hood mould is found on the first floor to the left of the centre. A gabled dormer is situated to the left of the centre. Roof catslides are present on the right side of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
