Description
Trafalgar Square Cottage is a house dating from the early 17th century. It is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble and features a gabled concrete tile roof, along with rendered and brick stacks at the gable ends. The building is designed in an L-shape with a rear right wing and has two storeys with a two-window range. The front has timber lintels above 20th-century windows, and there is a concrete lintel over a 20th-century door located in the left side wall. Inside, the front range includes a central timber-framed partition beneath a collar truss, as well as chamfered and stopped beams. The rear wing contains a complete set of chamfered and stopped beams and joists, along with a two-bay collar-truss roof.
