Description

Nos 45 and 47 on London Street are a pair of cottages built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from chequered brick and feature two stories plus an attic, topped with a stone tiled roof and an east wall stone stack. The cottages have one gabled dormer that contains an original pair of leaded light casements. No 47 has been covered with modern cement render over the brick. Each cottage has a triple leaded casement window on the first floor, framed by cambered head surrounds. The ground floor of No 45 features a triple window, while No 47 has a glazing bar sash window.
