Description
Pusey Home Farm features a barn and attached stable located approximately 50 meters southwest of the farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century. The barn is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and has a stone slate roof. It has a five-bay plan with a central threshing floor, which is accessed through a central double opening. Splayed ventilation slits are present on all walls, and the roof is half hipped. Inside, there is a five-bay collar-truss roof supported by side struts and butt purlins. Attached to the front left of the barn is a late 18th-century shelter shed made from similar materials, which connects to the farmhouse and encloses this side of the yard. This barn and stable are included for their group value as part of a collection of buildings that enclose the farmyard.
