Description
This is a 17th-century rubble stone barn, later converted into a corn merchants’ premises in the early 19th century. It has a steep stone-tiled roof, with a gable end to the west and a hip to the east. The building comprises six bays, containing 19th-century roof trusses. The south front has been stuccoed and features a two-storey, five-window range of 19th-century sash windows above. On the ground floor is a wide cart entrance in the centre, with further 19th-century openings on each side. The building is listed for group value.
