Description

This chest tomb, dating from the mid-18th century, is located approximately 20 meters northeast of the west end of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul in Wantage. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a moulded plinth and a cornice on its flat top. The corners are adorned with balusters, and there are illegible inscription panels, with one located at the east end that displays a coat of arms.
