Description
Ferry Cottage is a small house dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of limewashed rubble stone and features a gabled thatched roof with end brick stacks, one of which has a stone base on the east side. Most windows have 20th-century wood casements, but there are two 17th-century stone mullioned windows located to the east of a 20th-century door. There is also a 20th-century one-storey extension to the east, which has a gabled pantile roof and a weatherboarded east end. Unfortunately, no original internal features have survived.
