Description
Lodge Farm barn, located approximately 20 metres north of the farmhouse, dates from 1759, as indicated on the tie beam. The barn is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with brick quoins, and features a corrugated iron left gable wall and a concrete tile roof. It has a four-bay plan with a front aisle. At the front, there is a porch with a hipped roof leading to the threshing floor, flanked by aisle walls, and a timber lintel over a plank door to the left. Inside, the barn has a four-bay queen-post roof with butt and staggered purlins.
