Description
Court Farmhouse Barn, dated 1664 on the beam, features a late 18th-century extension to the right. The barn is weatherboarded over a light timber frame, with a brick Flemish bond wall on the right side of the 18th-century wing, and has a thatched roof. It is designed in an L-plan and is a single-storey structure with a 20th-century door and a half-hipped roof. Inside, there is a 17th-century queen post truss with clasped purlins. The 18th-century two-bay wing includes a truss with side struts and butt purlins. The 17th-century two and a half bay wing appears to be truncated and was likely originally longer, extending further to the right.
