Description

The chest tomb located approximately 7.5 metres east of the porch of the Church of St. Michael in Letcombe Bassett commemorates Mary Blandy, who died in 1732, and her son William, who died in 1731. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a moulded plinth and cornice. The corners are adorned with moulded balusters, while the sides display diagonally set and fielded inscription panels.
