Description
Pusey House is a temple built in the mid-18th century, located approximately 300 meters southwest of Pusey. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a copper roof. The building is a single storey with a semi-circular arch over the entry, a bracketed cornice, and a quatrefoil frieze beneath the parapet. The roof is domed. Inside, there is blind arcading and four round-headed niches in the corners that hold busts of the four Virtues on fluted pedestals. In the center of the temple stands a statue of Mrs. Brotherton, née Pusey, which is dated 1759.
