Description

Oakleigh is an early 18th century house made of cement-rendered rubble stone. It has two storeys and an attic, forming an L shape. The front section features a hipped slate roof and stacks at the end walls, with dormer windows on the sides. There is a large wooden cornice with dentils along the eaves. The front has a four-window range of exposed box sash windows with glazing bars, while the door has been modernized. The rear wing is rendered on the east side and made of rubble stone elsewhere, with a gable end and a stack on the north end wall.
