Description

Chase House is a mid-19th century house located on Gravel Walk in Great Faringdon. It is two stories tall and features a painted stucco facade with a slate eaves roof. The front has a three-window range of glazing bar sash windows set within moulded architrave frames. The entrance door is framed by a simple pilaster surround and has a minimal entablature above it. On the west side, one window has been altered and cut down to create a glazed door. The building is noted for its significance at the head of Gloucester Street.
