Description
The Old Cottage is a building that likely dates from the 18th century or earlier, with some later alterations. It is a single storey structure with attics and features a tiled roof. The left side is constructed of brick. There are two gabled dormers that break the eaves, each with casement windows that have glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two three-light casement windows with cornices flanking a modern door that is set in a rough rendered porch topped with a slate roof. To the right, there is a small casement window with a flush frame and glazing bars, positioned under a cornice. Additionally, there is a modern one-storey extension to the right. The Old Cottage is part of a group that includes Nos 47 to 61 (odd).
