Description
Nos. 3 to 7 on Bath Street is a building dating from the 17th century that was refronted in the 18th century. It is timber-framed and features two gables facing the road. Nos. 5 and 7 are rough rendered, while No. 3 is rendered. Each gable has one window, which is a three-light flat arched casement with a flush frame. No. 3 also has a double hung sash window with a flush frame, frieze, and cornice. There is a bow window on the ground floor with glazing bars, and a door that has a rectangular blocked fanlight beneath a hood and a fascia board. The stall riser is rendered. Nos. 5 and 7 each have two double hung sash windows with glazing bars, flush frames, frieze, and cornice. The ground floor has a modern shop front with a tiled stall riser. A stone stack is located on the south side. This group of buildings, numbered 1 to 15 (odd), forms a cohesive architectural ensemble.
