Description
Pusey House Dovecote is a late 18th-century structure built from coursed limestone rubble with brick quoins and dressings, topped with a stone slate roof. It has an octagonal plan and features a pointed brick arch with a keystone above a plank door, which is separated from an upper level by a continuous string course. There is a hipped dormer with an ogee-headed opening that was used as a glover. The walls have similar designs with blind doorways that alternate with a quatrefoil above a pointed arch leading to a bricked blind window. The dovecote is capped with a pyramidal roof that has a ball finial. Inside, there are brick nesting boxes built into all the walls.
