Description
Uxmore House is a farmhouse that dates back to the 17th century, with an encasement likely added in the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features an old plain-tile hipped roof, with a brick stack located at the right end. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has a two-window range. There is a 20th-century door leading to a porch on the right side. The windows on the ground and first floors are bordered sashes, and there is a hipped dormer in the centre that contains a two-light metal leaded casement. Inside, there is a 17th-century fireplace located on the ground floor to the right, along with a chamfered beam that has ogee end stops. On the first floor, there are late 18th-century cast iron fireplaces in the right and rear left rooms.
