Description
Bodgers is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century, with a front that probably dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with panels of grey brick and features an old plain-tile roof with brick end stacks. The building has a single storey and an attic, with a five-window range. The central entrance has a six-panel door and a trellis gabled porch. To the right of the door are three 16-pane sash windows, and to the left are two 16-pane sash windows. The eaves are adorned with a dentil cornice, and there are three gabled dormers. Inside, there is probably a late 17th-century open fireplace with a bread oven located in the ground floor left room. The roof structure is of queen post construction.
