Description
This is a 17th-century cottage located approximately 30 metres east of The Dog Public House. It has undergone later alterations. The cottage is constructed with a large timber frame and brick infill, topped with a roof of plain old tiles, and features a brick ridge stack. It follows a two-unit plan, with a wing extending to the left. The main section is two storeys high and has a two-window front. A single-storey, attic wing is to the left. A central plank door provides entry, and casement windows are present on the ground and first floors of the main section, with a single casement to the wing. The roof is gabled, with a lower half-hipped roof over the wing. The interior remains uninspected. A 20th-century two-storey wing has been added to the right side.
