Description
The former stable block, located approximately 20 meters south of Bridge House, dates from the late 18th century and is currently used for storage. It is constructed of red brick featuring flared headers in Flemish bond and has a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range. To the left of the center, there is a plank door with a segmental brick arch above it, while double plank carriage doors are positioned to the right. Lunette windows with stone architrave surrounds are found to the left and in the center on both the ground and first floors. There is also a plank door leading to a round-topped opening with a stone architrave surround on the first floor to the right. The eaves are topped with a plain parapet, and brick piers at both ends are adorned with stone urns. On the left side, lunette windows with stone architrave surrounds are present on both floors. The building features a four-bay curved principal roof and is included for its group value.
