Description

Thames Bank is a house that likely dates from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It features a painted brick exterior and a slate roof, with brick stacks. The building is two stories tall and has a three-window range. There is a central double door with six panels, flanked by windows. Above the door, there is a balustrade with ball finials on the piers, and a 12-pane sash window in the center of the first floor. To the left and right, there are tripartite sash windows. The roof is finished with a cornice and a parapet.

On the right side, there is a two-story section with a nine-window range arranged in groups of three. This section has a central two-story angled bay with an eight-pane French window in the center, flanked by eight-pane windows. The first floor features 12-pane sashes. To the right, there is another three-window range with a central French door and 12-pane sashes on either side. The first floor has three 12-pane sashes, with a cornice and parapet above.

On the left side, there is a three-window range with a central false nine-pane sash on the ground floor and 12-pane sashes on either side. The first floor has a central false 12-pane sash, with 12-pane sashes to the left and right, and a cornice and panelled parapet on the roof that includes a decorated central stack. The central bay has a hipped roof. There is also a subsidiary two-story wing to the left of the main front, which has tripartite sashes on both the ground and first floors. The interior has not been inspected.
