PANGBOURNE WHITCHURCH ROAD Whitchurch Bridge (Only the southern abutment and part of the southern span are in Berkshire)

Bridge over River Thames. Circa 1900. Steel with red brick abutments. Approximately 115 metres long and 8 metres wide, with 4 equal spans. 3 Pairs of piers with cross bracing between, and steel deck with lattice girder parapet. Square end piers. The Cleveland Bridge and Engineering Company built the steelwork, and Mr. Tucker of Reading built the foundations, masonry and roadway.
