Description

Highmoor Farmhouse, now a house, dates from the early 18th century, with substantial alterations to the main front in the late 18th century. The farmhouse is constructed of flint with brick dressings to the rear, and red brick with flared headers to the front. It has a tile roof and brick stacks. The main front, facing east, is of two storeys and three windows. A central six-panel door, fitted with a fanlight, provides access. Sash windows are present in all openings. The roof is hipped. Ridge stacks are located to the left and right of the house. The right-hand return front, of flint with brick dressings, is of two storeys and has irregular window placement. The interior remains uninspected.
