Description

The chest tomb located approximately 1.7 meters south of the porch of the Church of St. Mary Magdalen in Stoke Talmage is a Grade II listed structure. It commemorates the Treacher family and is dated 1788 and 1796. The tomb is made of limestone and features a moulded plinth and top, along with moulded corner-balusters that have gadrooned bases. There are two fielded inscription panels on each side, which commemorate Grace Treacher and Richard Pope, as well as two Martha Treachers, who died in 1788 and 1796.
