Description
These stables, located approximately 125 metres northeast of Newnham House, were likely built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a slate roof with brick stacks at the rear. The building is single storey and has a five-window range. The central entrance consists of double panelled carriage doors topped with a large decorative fanlight. To the left, there are two thermal windows with fanlights above, both framed by plain stone surrounds. On the right, there are two casement windows, also with fanlight tops and plain stone surrounds. The stables are topped with a triangular dentilled pediment and have a hipped roof. The interior has not been inspected.
