Description

Fernleigh is a farmhouse located in Crowmarsh Gifford, dated 1692, as indicated by the brick above the door on the left side. The building is constructed of flint with brick dressings and features a plain tile roof with brick stacks. It stands two storeys high and has a five-window range. There is a part-glazed six-panel door to the left of the center, which is topped by a flat hood. The windows include two-light wooden leaded casements to the left, center, and right, with a blind panel to the right of center. A brick band runs between the ground and first floors. On the first floor, there are two-light wooden leaded casements in the center and to the left, with rendered panels to the left and right of center and to the right. The eaves are adorned with a dentil cornice. There is a stack at the left end and a ridge stack to the right of center with diamond-set stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
