Description
Valley Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of flint with brick quoins and has a plain tile roof, featuring brick stacks at the center and to the right ends. The building has a two-unit lobby-entry plan, with 19th-century extensions to the right and rear. It is two stories high and has a five-window range, along with a two-storey, one-window extension to the right. The original house has a central four-panelled part-glazed door. Most of the windows are three-light wooden leaded casements, although the ground-floor openings have been altered. Inside, chamfered bressumer fireplaces are preserved on the ground floor in the sitting room and dining room.
