Description
Middle Assendon Farmhouse is a house that likely dates from the early 16th century, with additions made in the 17th and 20th centuries. It features a tile roof, a brick ridge stack, and a timber frame with brick infill. The building is designed as a hall house with a later cross wing. It has three bays, with a two-bay lateral gabled cross wing to the right. The windows are irregularly placed and consist of 20th-century wooden casements. There is a 20th-century porch to the right that includes a 20th-century door. Inside, the left side has a 20th-century queen-post roof, while the cross wing has a king-post roof. There is also an area of wattle in the main bathroom.
