Description
This building, known as Bere-ern, is a barn that has been converted into a house. It likely dates from the early 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The structure features a flint base with brick dressings, timber framing, weatherboarding, and a plain tile roof. There is a brick ridge stack. The barn has seven bays and an aisle at the rear, and it is a single storey with an attic, presenting a five-window range. To the right, there is a 20th-century glazed stable door, and the windows are irregularly arranged with 20th-century casements. The building also includes sloping rooflights and two hipped midstreys at the rear with 20th-century glazing. Internally, some jowelled wall posts are exposed, and the roof is supported by queen struts.
