Description

The Sheene memorial, located approximately 6 metres east of the chancel of the Church of All Saints, is a headstone dating from the late 17th century. It is made of limestone and features an oval cartouche adorned with vigorous scrolls and a winged head, topped by a three-arched design. The memorial commemorates John Sheene of Whateley, with a well-preserved inscription that is partly below ground level.
